Congratulations on your acceptance into Santa Clara University's MBA/MSIS program for Fall 2005. As a new student you are invited to attend a MBA/MSIS Quick Start session (class registration and administrative overview) and the MBA/MSIS Connect Program (new student orientation for MBA/MSIS students). These two events will help make your transition into the program as smooth as possible and introduce you to other new students. Please note that both these events are required. Please notify us as soon as possible if you have a conflict that cannot be rearranged.

QUICK START (Registration) August 24 & 25, 2005
Quick Start will give you an overview of SCU's registration process, the web site, and help answer any preliminary questions you might have about the program and what courses to take. There are six Quick Start session options. Each student must attend one session. Students will receive an email with online registration instructions in early August. Email MBAservices@scu.edu if you do not receive this email.

Session #1: Wednesday, August 24 (Noon-2 pm)
Session #2: Wednesday, August 24 (3 - 5 pm)
Session #3: Wednesday, August 24 (5:30 - 7:30 pm)

Session #4: Thursday, August 25 (Noon - 2 pm)
Session #5: Thursday, August 25 (3 - 5 pm)
Session #6: Thursday, August 25 (5:30 - 7:30 pm)

Space is first come first served, so please respond as soon as possible to ensure you receive the time slot you prefer.

Location/Parking: The sessions will meet on the SCU campus, in the business school building, Kenna Hall, Room 102. Parking will be available in the SCU Parking structure on the 3rd floor. Click here for more information on parking and maps.

Ecampus: Part of Quick Start will be familiarizing yourself with "Ecampus," SCU's online registration and account system. New students will receive their login and password for Ecampus via email. If you have not received this information by August 1, please send an email to ecampus@scu.edu with your full name and student id number (which was sent in your Admissions packet on your Program Plan sheet). Ecampus will be able to send you the information within 24 hours. As a new student, you will be able to register for classes during your Quick Start session.

CONNECT (New Student Orientation) September 10, 2005
One of the best things about starting a new program is meeting new people. In order to give you a chance to meet and network with your new classmates before school starts, please mark your calendars for Saturday, September 10 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. You will have a chance to learn more about SCU's MBA/MSIS program and meet some of the faculty and staff.
