MONSTERTRAK.COM
In partnership with the SCU Career Center, MONSTERTRAK.COM provides
full-time, part-time, temporary, and internship opportunities targeted
by employers to Santa Clara University students and alumni. In addition,
you will receive job postings directly from our office when you
register with MONSTERTRAK.COM.
TO REGISTER
IN THE SYSTEM:
1.
Go to www.monstertrak.com
2.
Click on "Students/Alums"
3.
Click on the state of California
4.
Find Santa Clara University in the first (top) drop down
box labeled "Colleges & Universities," then
click on the "Click here" button.
5.
Click on the "Register/Upload resume" link
6.
On the Register & Post Resume page, type in your e-mail address
to the 2 boxes and click on "Submit."
7.
Then just follow the instructions to register your profile.
**If
you register from an on-campus computer you will never be prompted
for a school password. But - if you register off-campus - at some
point the system will ask for your school password, this is when
you put in either your student ID number or the alumni password
that has been issued to you. When using your ID # - include all
of the zero's and none of the spaces.**
If
you are an alum, contact AnaKarina
White to receive the User Password.
Once
you have registered in the system, select "Jobs & Internships"
to view job postings. To narrow the search you might try selecting
"Full Time Experienced" in the Job Type box or type in
Keyword "MBA". This should eliminate most job postings
not at the MBA level.
Along
with searching job and internship postings, you can upload your
resume into the MONSTERTRAK.COM resume bank, view Job Search Tips,
and access expert and relevant job search advice from the Career
Forums and Career Contact Network.
Registering
with MONSTERTRAK.COM will also allow you to submit resumes to job
postings via the site and to receive e-mail updates, notices, and
MBA specific job postings from MBA Career Services as already
mentioned above. Make sure you register as an "MBA" who
is "Actively Seeking" a job so that you get on this valuable
distribution list!
Internships
There are two main resources for conducting
a search for Internships.
- MonsterTrak has internship
postings for all levels of work experience - mostly summer, but
some year-round opportunities are also listed.
On-Campus Resources for Jobs
Career
Center On-line - A listing of all On-campus Career Resources.
Mostly relating to undergraduate programs, but some useful information
for MBAs.
MONSTERTRAK.COM
- On-campus job postings can be found on this website as well. When
you log into the website, click on "Jobs & Internships"
and click on either one of the "On-Campus" options under
the "Limited Jobs Searched."
On-Campus Interviewing - For MBA Graduating students in their
last year of study. To find out how to sign-up for and view on-campus
