Business Career Services : A Message from Dean Posner
 Being
the Dean of the premier business program for Silicon Valley puts
me in regular contact with our region's top executives. I often
ask them what makes Santa Clara graduates stand out in this marketplace.
They tell me it's their willingness to continue learning and their
ability to learn quickly. They also give high praise to our graduates
for being "bright" and "smart" and for being
very good at working with others on projects and cross-functional
teams.
These
global leaders also speak about the importance of continually developing
personal effectiveness, especially for those just earning their
MBAs. Many of those are "polishing skills"—the skills
that the University offers you through MBA Career Services which
help you manage your professional life. Let me encourage you to
