and strategic management, executive lectures by agribusiness leaders and
weekly site visits to agribusiness firms. Course is in its eighth year.

and former chair of Western Regional Coordinating Committee-72 on Agribusiness
Competitiveness. WC-72 is a group of approximately 50 agribusiness researchers
that meets annually to present and discuss current agribusiness research.

the Strategic Planning Seminar for the California Agricultural Leadership
Program. Each year 30 student are selected for this highly competitive
two year program designed to develop California's future agricultural
leaders. The Institute of Agribusiness was chosen to develop a strategic
planning seminar to help these managers deal with issues such as planning
in a dynamic environment, food safety and ethics.
