Admissions : The Executive MBA

The Leavey School of Business introduced its Executive MBA degree program in 1999.  Designed to meet the needs of Silicon Valley executives, this substantive, pragmatic program offers an accelerated path to the MBA for experienced managers. Distinguishing features include:

• 17 month time to completion
• Classes meet Friday afternoon/Saturday mid-day, every other week
• Nine cross-functional themes replace traditional courses
• Curriculum focuses on issues of paramount concern to technology firms
• Select student body, screened for:
  • 10+ years of work experience
  • record of significant accomplishment managing people, projects, or programs

This program represents the first availability in Silicon Valley of an Executive MBA from an AACSB-accredited business school. 

The application deadline is February 28, 2003 for the EMBA cohort starting in May, 2003.
